Innovative session formats should include author and presenter\u00a0information in the proposal. Papers and posters will be reviewed\u00a0blind, without names of presenters in the proposal (more information\u00a0below).<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":4} --><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\">1. <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: 22px;\">RESEARCH PAPERS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Papers can be either long (3000 to 4000 words, without references) or short (2000 to 3000 words, without references) and should focus on conceptual or empirical contributions at an advanced stage of development. The long paper is for work requiring lengthy explanations of the conceptual background, methodology, data, analysis, and implications. We also welcome shorter papers reporting significant work in progress. All papers should be submitted following this template: <a href=\"http:\/\/ikit.org\/summerinstitute2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/kbsi-template-2020.doc\">kbsi-template-2020<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":4} --><\/p>\n<h4>2. <strong>POSTERS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Posters allow colleagues to gather<br \/>around visual displays for extended dialogue regarding novel and promising<br \/>ideas. The work may be at advanced or early stages of development and might<br \/>focus on Knowledge Building high points, discourse analysis, case studies,<br \/>pilot initiatives featuring new knowledge practices, technology developments,<br \/>exemplary work from teachers, students, administrators, engineers, researcher,<br \/>and so forth.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Posters can be paper- and\/or<br \/>video-based and should include 2 components. The first component must be<br \/>submitted for review:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>(a) Research Summary:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>one page overview, including: Title\u00a0&#8211; Authors\/Institution\/e-mail address\u00a0(only in final version, not for the blind review submission). Statement of (1) the issue\/problem, (2) major goals: what you hope to achieve\/accomplish (3) how the research addresses the issue\/problem, (4) advances\u2013what has been learned to-date, and (5) next steps. <br \/>Text\u00a0should be submitted in word or .pdf format.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><em>(b) Display:<\/em>\u00a0 If Print: Size: Max of 48\u201d (W) x 36\u201d (H)\u00a0Recommended font sizes ensure posters can be read at a distance of 1.5 metres: Title 100 pt. bold Authors 60 pt.
