Proposals are accepted at any time. They will be reviewed by a panel of knowledge building practitioners, researchers and designers. Through the simple act of submitting a proposal you acknowledge that all decisions are under the control of this panel.

Prepare a 1,000 to 2,000 word statement that addresses the following:
• the barrier in knowledge building that you propose to break, with an account of how you will do that
• how your work addresses knowledge building theory, principles, practices, and/or technologies
• data or other forms of evidence that you will produce to support your assertions

Submit a budget
• provide a request for funds, up to a maximum of $3,000 Canadian, and clarify how this money will be spent
• provide an account of matching funds, if there are any available. Matching funds can be in the form of (a) release time for you to do the proposed work; (b) travel awards that will allow you to attend our Summer Institute; (c) resources to provide the time needed to publish your work or to present this work at conferences, or (d) any other form of matching support that you are able to specify. Priority will be given to proposals that are accompanied by matching funds.
