A nonlinear regression model with Lyapunov
exponent (Guastell, 2002) was introduced to test whether the
targeted KB communities were undergoing a chaotic
expansion corresponding to a positive Lyapunov exponent, were gravitating
toward to a stable state (fixed-point attractor) in the end
corresponding to a negative Lyapunov
exponent, or were showing a kind of oscillated progression over time.
