Papers should either:
A) Report results, or
B) Focus on theoretical or conceptual advances

A) Papers reporting results should include the following:
- Title
- Authors/Institution
- e-mail address
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Method
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements
- References

B) Papers focused on theoretical or conceptual advances should include the following:
- Title
- Authors/Institution
- e-mail address
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Theoretical or conceptual advance
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements
- References
Papers can be either long (3000 to 4000 words) or short (2000 to 3000) and must address the theme of the Summer Institute. Submit your paper in Word or .rtf format to the on-line system by June 8th.

Posters

Your poster should have 2 components:
A) Research Summary, and
B) Display

A) Research Summary:
This is the component that will be reviewed in advance. It should be no longer than one page and must address the theme of the Summer Institute. Submit your research summary in Word or .rtf format to the on-line system by June 8th.

Research summaries should include the following:
- Title
- Authors/Institution
- e-mail address
- Statement of the issue/problem.
- How your research will address the issue/problem.
- What you have learned/progress to-date.
- Major project goals: what do you hope to achieve/accomplish?

B) Display:
If Print:
Size: Max of 48” (W) x 36” (H)
These are the font sizes we suggest to ensure posters can be read at a distance of 1.5 metres and to present a consistent image in presenting the research.
Title 100 pt. bold
Authors 60 pt.
Headings 60 pt
Body Text 40 pt., min. 28 pt
Captions 24 pt.

If Multimedia:
You will need to bring your own laptop for your presentation. There will not be any projection available, so we strongly recommend you bring a print resource to distribute.
