Abstract Empirical evidence of teachers’ and classrooms’ progressive practice in the use of Knowledge Forum was needed in order to assess the ways of use of teachers working in remote schools and with almost no face- to-face professional development related to the software and the knowledge building principles. Knowledge Forum databases were investigated to identify patterns of use in first utilizations of the software in a variety of settings in the Quebec Province. Patterns were identified, and will be presented. Observations will be drawn, and relevance for teacher professional development and research will be explored with participants. Interested participants will be invited to compare baseline data in the Beyond Best Practice Database (KF4) using similar and the more advanced procedures developed in the ATK. |
